This website is operated by Bohdan Suprun, trading as NoJoke Agency, a sole proprietorship in Switzerland (UID CHE-415.592.190). You can reach us at contact@nojoke.agency or by phone on +41 79 745 6703. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
Messages and enquiries. If you write to us by email or phone, we process the details you share with us, such as your name, email address, phone number and the content of your message.
Booking a call. The booking calendar on the Contact page is provided by Calendly. When you book, you enter your name, email address and any notes directly into Calendly, and we receive them to prepare and hold the call. The calendar is loaded from Calendly’s servers only on the Contact page, so Calendly can see your IP address and device details and may set its own cookies. Calendly’s own privacy notice applies to that processing.
Server logs. The site is delivered through Cloudflare. When you visit, technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages requested and the time of access is processed to deliver the site securely and to protect it against abuse.
Cookies and analytics. We do not use advertising cookies and the pages themselves do not set tracking cookies. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may collect basic, aggregated traffic statistics (such as page views, country and device type) through its privacy-focused Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track individual visitors across sites. If we add other analytics tools later, we will update this policy first and ask for consent where the law requires it.
We use personal data to run and secure the website, to answer your enquiries, to arrange and hold calls, to prepare and deliver projects we agree with you, to meet legal and accounting obligations, and to protect our legitimate business interests.
We process personal data under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies to you, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Depending on the situation, the basis is your consent, the need to take steps at your request or perform a contract, a legal obligation, or our legitimate interest in running a safe and effective business.
We share data only with service providers we need to run the site and our work, for example Cloudflare (hosting and delivery), Calendly (booking), and our email provider. They process data on our behalf or under their own terms. We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
Some of these providers are based outside Switzerland and the EU, including in the United States. Where that is the case, we rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
We keep enquiries and project correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your request and the work that follows, and for the periods that Swiss law requires us to retain business records. Server logs are kept only for a short period set by our hosting provider.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You can ask us for access to your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its processing, to hand it over in a portable format, and to withdraw any consent you have given. To use these rights, write to contact@nojoke.agency. You may also complain to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Switzerland, or to your local data protection authority.
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the last update at the top. See also our imprint.
